Requirements: To qualify for the award of the Master of Engineering a candidate must complete 72 credit points, including:

(a) 24 credit points of core units of study as listed in the Master of Engineering Units of Study table of common core units for the relevant specialisation

(b) At least 12 credit points of research units of study in the discipline of the candidate’s major.; and

(c) At least 24 credit points of units of study in the discipline of the student’s major as listed in the Master of Engineering Units of Study table,

(d) A maximum of 12 credit points of elective units of study, subject to the approval of the Dean or the Head of School most associated with the discipline of the student’s major;

(e) If advanced standing of 24 credit points is given, the candidate must complete a minimum of 12 credit points core, minimum of 18 credit points of specialist units and a minimum of 12 credit points of thesis, with 0 credit points of electives.
