Summary

In summary, the requirements are:

Students must complete 240 credit points as follows:

Engineering (144 credit points):

► 6 credit points of Introductory Computing units table

► 12 credit points of Foundation Mathematics units table (12cp of MATH1* can count towards Science requirements)

► 24 credit points of Project table

► The Professional Engagement Program (PEP) table comprising ENGP1001 (0cp), ENGP1002 (0cp), ENGP1003 (0cp), ENGP2001 (0cp), ENGP2002 (0cp), ENGP2003 (0cp), ENGP3001 (0cp) and ENGP3002 (0cp)

► 96 credit points of Aeronautical Stream Core units

► 6 credit points of Aeronautical Stream Core Extension Units

► may take Additional Aeronautical Stream elective units if there is elective space in the degree

Science (Medical Science Stream) (96 credit points):

► 24 credit points of Science degree core units (12cp of MATH1* can count towards Engineering requirements)

The Medical Science stream requirements changed in 2024, resulting in changes to 2000-level MEDS units for students who began their degree before 2024.

MEDS2001, MEDS2002, MEDS2004 and MEDS2005 are discontinued and replaced by PHSI2007/PHSI2907, PCOL2021, MIMI2002/MIMI2902 and ANAT2011. ANAT2011 requires prerequisite BIOL1008, which will need to be completed as one of your Science elective units.

Note: Candidates must complete 96 credit points of Science (Medical Science stream) study, including:
