Brief Handbook Description: | All projects exist in a legal context. They are initiated through agreements leading to formal or implied contracts between clients and suppliers. They are subject to various forms of legislation, regulation and codes of conduct. This Unit of Study prepares students to recognise the legal implications of their actions and the actions of others and to understand this in the context of project management. |

Assessment Description: |
* means this assessment must be repeated or will be replaced with a different assessment if missed due to special consideration. Tutorial contribution mark is based on contribution to tutorial discussions and negotiation practice activities. Late submissions will incur a penalty of 10% per day for up to 7 days starting directly after the cut off time. This means 10% will be deducted even if submitted on the due day but after the cut-off time. After one week, assessments will no longer be marked receive a 0 mark. IMPORTANT: There may be statistically defensible moderation when combining the marks from each component to ensure consistency of marking between markers, and alignment of final grades with unit outcomes. |
