2. Requirements

The Mechanical Engineering/Arts combined degree requires units of study a total value of 240 credit points, comprising:

- at least 84 credit points of units of study given by the Faculty of Arts for the BE/BA, with at least 54 credit points at 2nd or 3rd year level, and the completion of an Arts major.

- all core units listed for the Mechanical Engineering specialisation

- 12 credit points from the table of recommended elective units of study for Mechanical Engineering

- 6 credit points of free electives.

Students not meeting the Honours requirement of an average mark of 65% throughout their degree will be awarded the PASS degree Bachelor of Engineering.
