Students undertaking a major in Accounting must complete the following units:
(1) Three prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): ACCT1006, BUSS1020 and BUSS1030. BUSS1030 is a Commerce core unit and will have been completed by all Commerce students. Engineering/Commerce students are exempted from BUSS1020 once they have completed Engineering core unit MATH1005 and one other MATH unit.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): ACCT2011 and ACCT2012.
(3) At least four (six credit point) units of study or equivalent (24 credit points) selected from the senior elective units list.
Note:
Students undertaking a major in Business Information Systems must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): INFS1000.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): INFS2001 and INFS2020.
