2. Requirements

The Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Biomolecular) and Bachelor of Arts combined degree requires units of study a total value of 240 credit points, comprising:

* at least 84 credit points of units of study given by the Faculty of Arts for the BE/BA, with at least 54 credit points at 2nd or 3rd year level, and the completion of an Arts major

* core units as prescribed in the BE Specialisation tables for Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

* 12 credit points from the table of recommended elective units of study for Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

This unit replaces regular Honours Thesis units (CHNG4811 and CHNG4812 - 12 credit points) along with CHNG4001 Practical Experience (0 credit points), CHNG4112 Foundation of Chemical Engineering Design A (6 credit points) and Recommended Engineering Electives (6 credit points). Students are admitted to MIPP by school permission only. Applications from Science combined students are taken in the third year of study.
