BUSS3500: Integrated Business Applications Note: BUSS3500, senior capstone unit for the Commerce component of the combined degree, has been discontinued and will be available for the last time in an intensive February session in 2017. If you have not completed the unit by this time, you must select an additional senior Commerce elective to replace it. BUSS3500 is the new capstone unit for the Commerce component of the degree, replacing ECOF300 Business Strategy. (1) Three prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): ACCT1006, BUSS1020 and BUSS1030. BUSS1030 is a Commerce core unit and will have been completed by all Commerce students. Engineering/Commerce students are exempted from BUSS1020 once they have completed Engineering core unit MATH1005 and one other MATH unit.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): ACCT2011 and ACCT2012.

Students undertaking a major in Business Information Systems must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): INFS1000.

For a major in International Business, students must complete a minimum 36 credit points in senior units of study comprising:

Note that many senior elective units of study require the completion of additional prerequisites outside of those units listed for this major. Students undertaking combined degrees will need to carefully consider prerequisite implications before selecting any of these units to ensure that they do not exceed the credit point limit for the BCom component.
Note:
For a major in Management, Engineering/Commerce combined degree students must complete the following.
(1) Three compulsory senior units of study (18 credit points): WORK2201, WORK2210, WORK2218.
(2) At least three units of study (18 credit points) selected from the senior elective units list.
Students taking this major must first have completed at least one of the core junior Bachelor of Commerce units as a prerequisite.

Students intending to complete a major in Marketing must complete the following.
