Note:
1. Combined degree students may choose to take Chemical Engineering Design A & B in the same year as Engineering Project/Honours Thesis, or separately across years 4 and 5 as preferred.
2. Students with ISWAM of 65% or greater are eligible for Honours pathway and can replace Engineering Project Units (CHNG4813 and CHNG4814) with Honours Thesis Units (CHNG4811 and CHNG4812). See Streams/Majors tab for details of Honours Thesis units.
3. The engineering component of the combined degree requires 6 credit points from the table of Recommended Chemical and Biomolecular Electives. This may be taken in either first or second semester.
4. Top students may alternatively apply to undertake industry-based projects under the Major Industry Placement Scheme. MIPPS students take a single 24 credit points unit (CHNG4203) in place of Honours Thesis Units plus Chemical Engineering Design A and the 6 credit point Recommended Chemical and Biomolecular Electives. Note:
For a major in International Business, students must complete a minimum 36 credit points in senior units of study comprising:

Note that many senior elective units of study require the completion of additional prerequisites outside of those units listed for this major. Students undertaking combined degrees will need to carefully consider prerequisite implications before selecting any of these units to ensure that they do not exceed the credit point limit for the BCom component.

For a major in Management, Engineering/Commerce combined degree students must complete the following.
(1) Three compulsory senior units of study (18 credit points): WORK2201, WORK2210, WORK2218.

Students taking this major must first have completed at least one of the core junior Bachelor of Commerce units as a prerequisite.
