Additional Electives

There are no general electives in this degree. The 12 cp of additional electives must be Civil elective subjects. Additional electives can be obtained from any of the Second Year, Third Year or Fourth Year Civil electives.

Choice of electives will depend upon subject availability, timetabling and prerequisite conditions.

Other Notes

Students in the Honours program must enrol in CIVL4022 & CIVL4023; students in the Pass Program must enrol in CIVL4024 & CIVL4025.

With special permission from the Director of Undergraduate Studies Civil Engineering it is possible to take Thesis or Project A in Semester 2 and Thesis or Project B in Semester 1.

Most Mathematics; Chemistry; Physics and Computer Science units of study offered by the Faculty of Science can be replaced by an equivalent advanced level units of study subject to prerequisite conditions (as required by the Faculty of Science) being met.
