Candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Computing complete a maximum of four Foundation units of study (24 credit points).

To progress to the MIT program, students must complete one unit covering each area of programming, modelling, networking and data management.

Candidates need to complete relevant Foundation units or provide evidence of prior learning before undertaking any Specialist Unit(s). This will be assessed by either completion of prerequisite learning in the Foundation units or evidence from prior learning that fulfills the assumed knowledge criteria for the Specialist unit(s) chosen.

Note: 36 credit points are to be completed from the Specialist units of study in IT (Block 2) or IT management (Block 3).
