Note:  Science/Engineering combined degrees require 240 credit points, comprising 96 credit points from Science subject areas, with a major in one Science discipline, plus units prescribed for the Engineering specialisation. Science units forming part of core requirements in the Civil Engineering specialisation may be counted as part of the 96 credit point Science requirement. Consult resolutions for Combined Engineering /Science degree in Faculty handbooks for further details.

Note:   Students wishing to enrol in more advanced alternatives to MATH1001 and MATH1002 should check with the Faculty of Science before doing so.

At the completeion of 1st semester or 1st year students must choose a stream of Engineering for which they are eligible and transfer to this stream in order to complete their degree.

* a major in a science area.
