Note: Sufficient Science Units of Study at Intermediate and Senior levels must be spread over 3rd and 4th year to meet the 96cp requirement of the Science component of this degree. Students must also ensure they meet the requirements for a Science Major, which is typically 24cp of Senior Science units (consult the Science Handbook). Note, Science units in the common core of 1st year (30cp) and 2nd year (6cp) contribute 36cp of Science units. Therefore, a minimum of an additional 60cp (10 units) must be completed in order to meet the 96cp of Science requirement. In addition, the 1st and 2nd year Science course structure contributes another 24cp of Science units. As a result, 24cp of Science units are generally undertaken in 3rd/4th year. These Science unit requirements can be met with EITHER Biomedical Engineering Selected Core Units OR additional Science units at the Senior (3XXX) level.
