Engineering/Commerce combined degree students undertaking a major in Accounting must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): ACCT1006.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): ACCT2011 and ACCT2012.
(3) At least four (six credit point) units of study or equivalent (24 credit points) selected from the senior elective units list.
Core Bachelor of Commerce unit ACCT1005 is a further prerequisite for this major and must be completed first.
Note:
Students undertaking a major in Business Information Systems must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): INFS1000.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): INFS2001 and INFS2020.
(3) At least four elective units of study (24 credit points) selected from the senior elective units list, noting that the units listed above are those units which are being offered for the current year only.
Note:
Students undertaking a major in Commercial law must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): CLAW1000.
(3) At least six elective units of study (36 credit points) selected from the senior elective units list.
Note:
Engineering/Commerce combined degree students undertaking a major in Econometrics must complete the following.
(1) One prerequisite junior unit of study (6 credit points): ECMT1020. Completion of core junior engineering unit MATH1005 is also required beforehand. MATH1005 replaces ECMT1010 as prerequisite for ECMT1020.
(2) Two compulsory senior units of study (12 credit points): ECMT2110, ECMT3110.
(3) One unit (6 credit points) chosen from the four Senior Commerce Electives: ECMT3120, ECMT3130, ECMT3150, ECMT3170.
(4) At least three elective units of study (18 credit points) selected from the other senior elective units listed. Only two of these elective units (12 credit points) may be selected from ECMT2620, ECMT2630 or ECMT3610.
Note:
Engineering/Commerce students undertaking a major in Economics must complete the following.
(1) Three prerequisite junior unit of study (18 credit points): ECMT1020, ECON1001 and ECON1002. Completion of core junior engineering unit MATH1005 is also required beforehand. MATH1005 replaces ECMT1010 as prerequisite for ECMT1020.

It is strongly recommended that students undertaking a Finance major also complete either ECON1001 plus ECON1002 (or ECOF1005) in preparation, as these junior units provide essential assumed knowledge.

Engineering/Commerce students undertaking a major in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management must complete the following.
