The "Advanced Breadth" and "Advanced Depth" requirements for the Chemical and Biomolecular Stream are based on IChemE curriculum standards for Chemical Engineering degrees accredited at IChemE M Level (Master equivalent). "Breadth" subjects are defined by IChemE as subjects broadly related to Chemical Engineering that are "at an appropriate advanced level" but without prerequisites. Degrees accredited at I-Chem-E M Level must include at least two advanced level Chemical Engineering units in the "Breadth" category as well as two units of "Depth".

The "Advanced Breadth" and "Advanced Depth" requirements for the Chemical and Biomolecular Stream are based on IChemE curriculum standards for Chemical Engineering degrees accredited at IChemE M Level (Master equivalent). Note: Students may take 6 credit points of free electives to complete the total number of credit points for their degree.
